50th National Roller Hockey Championships

It's totally TRUE, the 50th edition of National Roller Sports Championship is coming next month.  Roller Hockey Championships is scheduled to be held as follows at Belgaum, Karnataka.

Roller Hockey Championship is to be held from 2nd to 6th February 2013, while the reporting & practise goes on 31st January & 1 February. The Departure of the teams are on 7th February. Last year Haryana was the champion in both Men and Women's Championship.

National Championship changed to Dronacharya Stadium,Kurukshtra

 According to RSFI website the city to host the 49th National Roller Hockey Championship was changed. The initial plan was to dispute the Championship in Faridabad,but due to last minute unavoidable problems, was moved to Kurukshtra (Dronacharya Stadium, Sector-13), in Haryana.

in senior boys
JAMMU AND KASHMIR won GOLD beating last time CHAMPION HARYANA in final and the score was 5-4
CHANDIGARH won bronze beating PUNJAB and the score was 2-1

in senior girls
HARYANA won GOLD beating ANDHRA PARDESH in final and the score was 8-0
JAMMU AND KASHMIR won bronze beating MAHARASTRA and the score was 5-0

in junior boys
HARYANA won GOLD beating JAMMU AND KASHMIR in final, the score was 5-0
CHANDIGARH won bronze beating MAHARASTRA and the score was 6-1

in junior girls
HARYANA won GOLD beating ANDHARA PARDESH in final and the score was 6-4
CHANDIGARH won bronze by beating DELHI and the score was 3-0

Who will succeed to Haryana in the Indian Championship

Last months Indian Roller Hockey had some local tournaments, and of course the participation of the National Men's Team in the B-World Cup in Dornbirn, Austria and the National Women's Team in Women World Cup in Albobendas, Spain.


Now all the Indian teams are starting to preparing to the biggest Indian Championship, i.e., the National Championship. We would like to inform next weeks, untill the beggining of this tournament about all the details, teams, players, rink, sponsors...


We are thinking to do the best ever promotion and monitoring to an Indian Championship, so we need all the kind of help untill January.
